A LANGUAGING PRACTICE TO SHIFT FROM A LOW FREQUENCY TO A HIGHER VIBRATION

Emotions can be measured by frequency. When you feel lower frequency emotions such as anxiety, fear, or anger, try focusing on anything that you appreciate. This can be the rain, the sun, a person, the shoes on your feet.

Appreciation and gratitude are higher on the vibrational frequency scale and can lift you out of lower vibrational feelings.

A powerful way to begin shifting your focus to gratitude is by changing the words you speak out loud and silently to yourself.

How to use language to lift your vibe

This practice requires you to check in with yourself several times a day. What are the words you are using? With awareness, begin to shift your language using the examples below.

Change “I have to….” to “I get to…”

Change “I’m a worrier” to “It feels good to know things will work themselves out”

Change “I can’t meditate” to “I’m looking forward to getting better and better with practice”

Change “The world is a scary place” to “There are millions of people focused on peace at any given moment.”

Change “I’m overweight” to “I feel so happy there are resources all around me to help me achieve any goal I set”

Change “I feel like no one understands me” to “I know with a little bit of research, I can find supportive groups of people that I really enjoy being around”

Change “My job sucks” to “There are so many job opportunities for me to discover when I’m ready to try something new.”

Those positive vibes you’re seeking are seeking you. Want to open yourself up to them? Take a deep breath and practice welcoming them with your words in each day.

By tuning into the language you’re using regularly, you’ll automatically start choosing higher vibrational words that are more aligned with appreciation, gratitude and a higher frequency.
